Target Shooting is an Olympic Sport. It can be enjoyed by men and women alike with equal results. Also, provided the Club premises will allow, many disabled people can participate, even those with sight impairment. You need no special skills to become a proficient shooter. Just an ability to listen and learn and to make the effort to get away from the television or games console. Click on this link for a quick look. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3J0m7NQIjo0
Kimbolton Rifle Club is one of the oldest Small Bore rifle clubs in Great Britain, quite possibly the oldest, having been formed around 1898.
We are a small club with about 15 members.
We shoot every Thursday evening from 7.00pm.
The range, located within the Kimbolton School complex, has 4 firing points and is well lit.
We have club equipment for novices and coaching is always given to new or inexperienced shooters.
New members are always welcome.
Anyone aged 16 to 116.
The Yearly fee for full membership is currently £80.00 & £19.00 for under 18s. In addition, there is a range fee of £3.00 each evening you wish to shoot. There is no "Hiring Fee" for using club equipment, but you have to buy your own ammunition which costs from about £5.50 per box of 50 rounds.
